Fall brings out the best of my wardrobe. New textures of velvet, cashmere, corduroy, wool, silk, fleece, and leather are enough to give this season its reputation of coziness. Austin and I have been trying to tailor our movies and TV shows to the season to add an extra layer of seasonal bliss when the weather outside doesn't reflect the month. Since we don't have a fireplace anymore (which is a must-have in our next home- we were spoiled!), we have been taking advantage of ways we can celebrate the new autumn season, even if the leaves haven't changed quite yet in North Carolina. We watched You Got Mail last week (a personal favorite) and there is nothing like fall in New York to give my soul a joyful jolt! I also re-watched Master of None season 2 (Don't bother with season 1) and felt even more fall nostalgia! Any suggestions of fall movies or TV episodes? Let me know in the comments!
Anyway, everything on my shopping widget below, I either already own or it's on my list to acquire in the coming months to take me through winter. Variations of red (burgundy, cinnamon, candy apple), olive green, golden yellow, and blush pink paired with classic neutrals of black, white, camel, and grey will reflect the radiant fall days ahead and liven up the cloudy, dreary weather that is to come this winter.
